| Description | Philadelphia families will enjoy an action-packed, music and dance-filled day when Baby Loves Disco presents the first ever Baby Loves Disco Family Fun Fest. Baby Loves Disco, the internationally acclaimed purveyor of hip family dance parties, returns to its birthplace with this brand-new event, produced in partnership with Electric Factory Concerts. The Electric Factory will be converted into a multimedia festival experience where families may enjoy dance, music, comedy, art, food and tons of surprises along the way. Tickets are $25, or $80 for a family 4-pack, and five percent of ticket sales will benefit Alex’s Lemonade Stand. Baby Loves Disco Family Fun Fest provides a full afternoon of entertainment options, both inside and out. Kids, parents and grandparents will boogie to dance tunes spun by a real DJ on the expansive Baby Loves Disco dance floor, complete with giant video screens and colorful lights. Meanwhile, outside on the big stage, non-stop performances by some of the hottest kindie rock bands (The Pop Ups, Secret Agent 23 Skidoo, Bubble Do Beatles), local dance troupes and The Great Holtzie, an acclaimed kid-friendly stand-up comedian, will entertain festival-goers. World Café Live’s acclaimed Peanut Butter and Jams selected the talent . Roving jugglers, street performers, circus arts, puppet shows, clowns (the good kind), face-painting and air-brush tattoos, will add to the festival atmosphere. Kids and parents can help paint a mural and create other masterpieces at the arts and crafts tables. And at least 20 of the hottest Philadelphia food trucks will allow families to make a super-tasty day of it. |
