Description The Philadelphia Irish Festival returns to the Great Plaza at Penn’s Landing on Sunday, June3rd from 1:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. This authentic and vibrant Irish Festival celebrates Irish culture through food, dancing and crafts. The 14th annual Irish Festival is a family event that features well-known Irish musical performers. The gates will open at noon on Sunday and admission is free. Guests can enjoy the music of Jamison, Blackthorn and the
Hooligans on the main stage. Irish dance schools including Celtic Flame, Emerald Isle, Cummins, Coyle, Campbell, Rince Ri, McDade, Cara, McHugh, Christina Ryan Kilcoyne, Gibson, Timoney, 2nd St. Irish Society will perform throughout the day. In addition to great musical performances, the Irish Festival has something for people of all ages. There will be bagpipers, face painting, and Irish dancing along with a Free Kids Zone sponsored by John Dougherty and IBEW Local 98. Celebrities from CBS3 and the Irish Community will also be mingling with the crowd. Local Irish dance schools will conduct dance exhibitions and non stop performances in the tent area and at the main stage all day long.

Food Vendors will be serving Irish favorites such as Shepherd’s Pie and Bangers and mashed potatoes. Over 40 different vendors will be selling authentic and traditional Irish goods and crafts.
