| Description | This is class is free of charge and open to both moms and dads! Space is limited, so please reserve by emailing info@rightstepseducation.com or calling 267-773-7588 Please join early childhood experts Regina Reydler and Ackie Smith for a complimentary educational presentation and open discussion on how to transition yourself and your child after maternity or paternity leave. Regina, a co-owner of Right Steps Education, is a preschool teacher with a bachelor’s degree in elementary education and certified as one of the first female Bucks County’s Keystone Stars Initiative Early Childhood Education Director Credential recipients . Ackie Smith, who has been teaching age’s birth to five since 1984, has received a degree in Applied Science of Early Childhood Education and has worked in a variety of places from Temple University to her own home in childcare services. There will be a short presentation followed by an opportunity for question and answer with Ackie Smith. Topics that will be covered include: • Explanation of to expect when transitioning back to the workforce • What to look for in a quality childcare center • Dealing with separation anxiety • Tracking developmental milestones • Building a bond with your caregiver • Communication between doctor, parent and caregiver • Socialization: It starts early! |
