As one of the oldest arboreta in the northeastern United States, Tyler Arboretum offers a place for families to connect to nature. Its 650 acres feature renowned plant collections, a butterfly house, a tree house exhibit, historic buildings, and 20 miles of hiking trails through woodlands, wetlands, and meadows. A nonprofit organization, Tyler’s mission is to preserve, develop, and share its diverse horticultural, historic, and natural site resources in order to stimulate stewardship and an understanding of the living world.
